Mint Frames
We can use more or less every material in the world of bicycle framebuilding, joining tubes together in every feasible way, but our real passion is the fabrication of steel bike frames. Modern steel tubing is infinitely better than that old school heavy stuff that you got ridiculed for riding years ago. It's insanely strong, has a fantastic ride quality, and it doesn't feel like you're commanding a tank while in the saddle. Steel bike frames are also easily customizable: the availability of dozens of different tubing alloys, diameters, wall thicknesses and shapes makes it easy for us to make your Mint fit you and your riding style perfectly.

Modern steel tubing will keep you comfortable on your long treks along the asphalt, while giving you the lively ride you want. It will feel fresh and nimble on the trails, while smoothing out the small stuff. Our steel bikes are close in weight to titanium or scandium (aluminum's lighter sibling) frames for a fraction of the cost. All of these reasons have sold us on the use of steel and we are certain that as soon as you take your first few pedal strokes on your new Mint, you'll feel the same.

We put our steel tubes together with silver, brass, or aerospace grade stainless steel depending on the joining method. We do everything to make your Mint unique to your style, and by offering every viable joining method, we feel we can give you the flexibility you need to design your new Mint.
